ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO

on your mark, get set, go!
A three-command start when racing: "on your mark" = get on your lane/spot; "get set" = get to starting position; "go" = take off.

Today's lesson is all about running the christian race and not getting disqualified before we get the prize. Let's make every effort to stay focused on Jesus.

1 Cor 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27 No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Gal 6:9, 7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Matt 14:29 "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"

Keeping a watchful, focused eye on Jesus will keep us from getting distracted in our faith. May Jesus never say to us what he said to Peter, O you of little faith, why did you doubt.

Making the main thing the 'main thing'

How to Make the Main Thing the Main Thing
Read Philippians 3
· Learn How to Party - REJOICE
· Keep your Eyes Open for ‘religious people’
· Know Who You Are – You are not what you have or what you have done! You are a child of God.
· Don’t put confidence in the Flesh. That means yours too.
· Stay rooted in Christ Jesus. Let him be the reason for it all.
o And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. Col 1:18
· You are not perfect yet. Arriving at church does make you perfect.
· Let Go of The Past. Keep being born again
o Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath Eph 4:26
o Forgiveness is a part of letting go of the past. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Matt 6:12
· Be Assertive- Get it done
o Knowledge of Passive, Aggressive, & Assertive
§ Passive – lack of energy, unresponsive, not active; but acted upon.
§ Aggressive - having or showing determination and energetic pursuit of your ends, inclined to behave in an actively hostile fashion.
§ Assertive – You can define assertiveness as honoring your wants, need and values and seeking appropriate forms of their expression in reality. 1. To insist upon (rights, claims, etc.) 2. (May take a clause as object) to state to be true; declare categorically 3. to put (oneself) forward in an insistent manner

· Have Goals. (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, long term)
· Know the Prize. (Keep in front of you the things you desire)
· Do a mind check often (if you check your mind, you will check your mouth). Ask yourself 'How am I thinking?'
· Join with others like-minded people. (small bible study groups are great)
· Don’t lose sight on the ultimate prize. To be like Christ is the ultimate prize.

IT'S NOT IF, BUT WHEN

Let's stop saying if, but let's start declaring WHEN. God is going to do what He has promised.
Pss.37
[5] Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Is 46:11
I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
Ecc 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Exod.13
[5] And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
[11] And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,
Deut.6
[10] And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
Deut.7
[1] When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;
[2] And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
Deut.12
[20] When the LORD thy God shall enlarge thy border, as he hath promised thee, and thou shalt say, I will eat flesh, because thy soul longeth to eat flesh; thou mayest eat flesh, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after.
[29] When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
Deut.14
[24] And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:
Deut.19
[1] When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose land the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses;
Deut.20
[13] And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
Deut.25
[19] Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.
Pss.14
[7] Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
Pss.102
[16] When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
Pss.126
[1] When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
Isa.4
[4] When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
Isa.10
[12] Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
Isa.24
[23] Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
Isa.52
[8] Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
It’s not if he heals me but when
It’s not if he delivers me but when
It’s not if he saves my loves ones but when
It’s not if he blessed me but when
It’s not if he prospers me but when
It’s not if I get out of debt but when
It’s not if he straighten it out but when
It’s not if I get my degree but when
Pss.27
[14] Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Isa.30
[18] And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
Isa.40
[31] But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Hillsong - At the Cross - With Subtitles/Lyrics

Pure Worship. Be Blessed

THANKS THAT LEADS TO PROSPERITY

While reading this Psalm the Holy Spirit impressed on my spirit that God's desire for us is to prosper. Most of the time when we think of prosperity we immediately think of money. Money is sometimes a part of our prosperity but sometime, out of context, money could be a part of our downfall. But truly prosperity means to progress in the things of God in every area of our lives, including our finances. In order for us to progress it is important that we begin to give thanks to God for is mercy. His mercy is his goodness, lovingkindness and his faithfulness. Just think about how good He has been to us. I have posted this Psalm in it's entirety so you can read it online and see how God is going to lead you into prosperity as you give him thanks for the mercy that you have already experienced.
Psalm 118
[1] O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.[2] Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.[3] Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.[4] Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.[5] I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.[6] The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?[7] The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.[8] It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.[9] It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.[10] All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.[11] They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.[12] They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.[13] Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.[14] The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.[15] The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.[16] The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.[17] I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.[18] The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.[19] Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:[20] This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.[21] I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.[22] The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.[23] This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.[24] This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.[25] Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.[26] Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.[27] God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.[28] Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.[29] O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Just take a moment to thank God for his goodness, and then be silence and allow God to flood you soul with the power to prosper (progession in the things of God). May you prosper in every area of your life. Be Blessed.

THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT

The Lord blessed us to share this Sunday a word of comfort. 2nd Corinthians 1:3-7 says, 'Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.'
God says to you today, 'be comforted'. He wants to assist, aid, help, strengthen you. It doesn't matter what you are going through, He has sent his comfort to help you. Be comforted of God today. Be Blessed.

CELEBRATE YOUR GODLY INHERITANCE

In Luke 15:11-32 we find the story of two sons and a father. It is known as the story of the Prodigal Son. It is the story of three Jewish men and it's loaded with Jewish tradition. Due to it's prophetic nature, it's loaded with revelation about the love the Father has for his children. In the book of Proverbs 13:22 it says, 'a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children'. In the natural all fathers leave their children an inheritance. Some good - morals, godliness, wealth, skill, money, property, etc. ; some bad - curses, bad habits, dysfunctions, poverty, etc. Well in this story we find that this was a good father for he had wealth, honor, status, love, and godliness. The younger of the son who would have inherited by law 1/3 of the wealth asked for his portion with the intent of leaving his loving father and going far away, never to return. This good father honored his sons' request and gives him his portion of the wealth and the son leaves for his long journey. Can you see yourself in this story? leaving the comfort of God, being allured by sin, taking all that God has given you and taking a long journey into the world of sin. I have found in my journey in this world that the pleasures of sin only last for a season. This son spends all and ends up busted and broke. Have you ever been there? But at his worst point he comes to himself and decide to go back home to his father. Have you experience the saving grace of God? It happens when you decide that the road you are on is leading you nowhere and at that point you realize that being back in fellowship with God is better than being in sin. It all begins when you acknowledge where you are and make a commitment to change. The story says this son decide to head home. Praise God, all we have to do is repent (change one's mind for the better) and the Father and all heaven rejoices. Now the rest of the story focuses on the father. He meets his son while he was still a long way off. That's the work of the Holy Spirit. He helps us get in right relationship with God right after we accept His salvation. Read John Chapters 14,15,16. Then the father throws a party for the son and puts on him a robe, a ring and sandals on his feet. Here are three things God gives every believer.

Robe - symbolizes honor, righteousness

Ring - authority, power to use the name of Jesus

Sandal - position, our place in the Body of Christ, Victory over Satan, Satan is under our feet

Lastly, he restore the fortune that this son lost while he was away from him. Now this is where I really shout. Let me prophesy to you today. GOD IS GOING TO RESTORE TO YOU EVERYTHING THAT THE DEVIL HAS TAKEN FROM YOU AND YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE MORE THAN YOU EVER HAD BEFORE. THE TIME OF YOUR GODLY INHERITANCE IS NOW. STAY CONNECTED WITH THE FATHER IN PRAYER AND WATCH GOD MOVE ON YOUR BEHALF. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS RESTORING YOUR GODLINESS AND YOUR WEALTH RIGHT NOW. Praise God for a turnaround breakthrough right now. Be Blessed

THE POWER OF PRAYER

God is calling the Body of Christ back to prayer. He tells us in Luke 18:1, 'that men ought always to pray, and not to faint'.

Have you thought about how full our lives are that our busy-ness has choked out our prayer lives. I've be watching Benny Hinn's 'This is Your Day' TV program and have been tremedously blessed with his teaching on prayer. Go to his website http://www.bennyhinn.org/ and order 'The Seven Keys to Mountain Moving Prayer' if you want to recharge your prayer life. We know that God can do anything, but He only chooses to do in the earth what His people prays for. Have you made prayer the priority of your life. Why not join me in putting pray back in it's rightful place.

Matt 6:33 says, 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.'

The Holy Spirit desires to come along side us and help us pray for all of our needs. Romans 8:26 says, Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

So with you making time and with the Holy Spirit as your prayer partner; let's go again into our prayer closets and seek God's will for our lives, our Churches, our families, our nations, and our ministries.

Matthew 6:6, But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Have a Prayful Day. It's not be careful but be prayful.

THE PURGING BEFORE INCREASE

The Holy Spirit has asked me to share with the body of Christ that 'increase is coming'. But he said to me before increase comes we must me purged. He lead me to the scripture John 15:1-17 and shared a few things with me that a shared with Kingdom Revival Center on Tuesday night.
The second verse shows us that every branch that bears fruit he purges. I know that doesn't sound like much of what we here in the church now, but this says that if you have been fruitful in your walk with God he will send a season where he purges you. But remember that purging precedes a season of fruitfulness. I looked up the definition of purge and it said,
Purge - 1. a. to free from impurities; purify
b. to remove (impurities and other elements) by or as if by cleansing.
2. To rid of sin, guilt, or defilement
I also read one definition that said it is to get rid of (people considered undesirable)

I hear the Spirit of God calling us to let him purge out of our lives everything that would hinder our relationship to Him so he can make us more fruitful in the things of God. All across the world there is a great harvest of souls, miracles healing, deliverance and prosperity, waiting for us to manifest. He is only seeking those that will abide in his word, be obedient to him, to walk in love, to rejoice, and pray until the power of the Lord is release in all the earth.

The greatest enemy to the release of God's power in the earth is that to many of his saints are in love with the world. 1John2:15 say, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. The devil is doing everything he can to rip the love of God out of us by making us love the world. Saint we must stand our ground with the love of God.

Remember that God is trying to increase the Kingdom and decrease the kingdom of Satan. We are in the greatest season of wealth transfer that the world has ever seen. Let this prophesy to you, the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Proverbs 13:22b

Be Purged for all that would defile you and let the increase begin. God Bless.
Your Season Of Increase Is Here!

STEPS TO YOUR MIRACLE

  • Repent - Jesus' ministry began with the words 'Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand'. To repent means to change your mind for the better. If your thinking has gotten you where you are, why not change it. Romans 12:2, Matthew 4:17
  • Restore - Repentence brings restoration. God promised us in the book of Joel that he would restore the years. Restore means to take back to its original condition or fuctionality. Joel 2:23, Jeremiah 30:17
  • Revive - Restoration brings revival. To revive means to bring back from the dead. God want to bring some things that have died in our live back from the dead. Sins brings death and death mean to be separated from God. God wants to revive us. Habakkuk 3:2, Psalm 85:6
  • Rejoice - Revival brings joy. Nothing signifies a right relationship with God more than a life of rejoicing. Paul tell's us to rejoice in the Lord and again I say rejoice. Phillipians 3:1,3
  • Reveal - God wants to reveal himself to us and revelation comes when the Spirit of God is reverenced in our lives daily. Isaiah 40:5, Matthew 16:17
